Owners Alessandro Barosi and Amalia Battaglia are realizing their dreams in Dogliani. They purchased an old estate that was badly in need of repair about 8 years ago. Some of the vines on the property they think are pre-phyloxera. The did extensive work in the vineyard replanting and re-training many of the vines, rebuilt the cellar and are gradually rebuilding the villa as well. They are committed to organic farming and organic cellar work, certified by the EU. They do two versions of Dolcetto as well as Nebbiolo and Barbera that we will hopefully bring to you in 2010.
