Started by Enrica and Ettore Bandirola in the late nineties, on their vacation property in Montalcino, from vines they planted 20 years earlier. The wines have received great acclaim from their first vintage in 1999 forward.  Making less than 12,000 bottles in total allows them great freedom to pamper their vines and their soil. They’ve been known to take tweezers to the vineyards to pick off damaged berries!
